I remember coming here years ago when I was a kid and I'm very glad that this place is still up and thriving with customers because the workers here and the food are all top notch! I got the rare lemon beef salad and the bun bo hue. It is easily by far one of the better bun bo hues I've had in the bay area. The soup was bursting with flavor, spicy but not too spicy, which I wanted more of, but flavor overall was excellent. The noodles were delicious and the meat was loaded as well. I can still remember how the broth tastes as I write this review. The veggies on the side, mint and beansprouts were super fresh and even added a good amount of crispy texture to the bowl of noodles.
It's a good place, been standing in SF for over 20 years now. Pho and plates are always the things to order. This is a different Viet food vibe and worth coming back for. You greeted immediately and staff is friendly. A quiet spot that can get loud during the lunch rush. If you haven't tried it yet, you should and see what OG SF Pho is. Menu haven't changed that much from original, of course excluding the price bump.
Good food, good fast service - what more could you ask for? The two bun dishes our party ordered were great - flavorful, authentic, and a good size too. The imperial rolls were really crispy and good (actually, even better than Perilla down the street imo). The waiters were super on top of things and kind and friendly. Overall, 5/5 for the good food and service.
My family came back again for more YUMMY YUMMY food. I was craving for their crab and got the Yummy special crab cooked by Wilson. I really like his personality and how he manages the restaurant. I watched him greet his customers and checked the tables to make sure everyone was satisfied with their meal. He is a "hands-on" owner and always smiling. His staff are nice too and does a great job cleaning the tables and fast service. The food is always fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend Yummy Yummy if you're in the area for authentic Vietnamese food. P.S. I was impressed that Wilson remembered me for giving him a 5-star Yelp review.

I love the pho at Yummy Yummy. The soup base tastes great, and they have the most tender beef. My parents visited me from Hong Kong a few years ago, and I took them to Yummy Yummy for lunch. My das was hooked and we ended up going there for lunch every day. Yummy Yummy was closed temporarily during COVID, and I so glad to learn that they are back to business again.
